Bayyari Elementary Girls Groups Trains for 5K

A group of girls at a local elementary school decided it was time to make a difference in their own lives and to help others.
Every week they're training for a very special run - hoping to lace up and cross the finish line for a good cause.
The second grade class at Bayyari Elementary in Springdale has been working together on a special assignment
One of their teachers, Sarah Faldon, says this little running club has a big goal.
The group consist of 2nd through 5th grade girls that learn about keeping their bodies healthy and about exercising
They spend time in class learning about everything from eating right to getting in shape
They are training to run in this year's Komen Ozark Race For The Cure.
Both educators and kids want those fighting cancer to know -- they're behind them every step of the way.
