Three Razorback football players will have an arraignment June 15th stemming from burglary charges over the weekend.

Police arrested three Hog football players Saturday on charges of residential burglary.  Marquel Wade, Maudrecus Humphrey and Andrew Peterson were booked just after noon Saturday and have all been suspended indefinitely from the football team.  With these arrests, six Arkansas football players have been arrested since the start of Spring ball.

According to the police report, $4,817 worth of textbooks, laptop computers, cash and DVDs were stolen.  The initial theft report was called in on May 1st.

Humphrey and Peterson each received nine counts of burglary. Wade got just one count.

Video surveillance caught the trio walking through dorm hallways checking doors and entering rooms. A witness also provided a written statement identifiying Peterson and Humphrey.  A clerk at the Campus Bookstore on Dickson Street identified all three as having come in to sell textbooks multiple times.

Textbooks and other stolen property were recovered in Peterson's dorm room

Arkansas head coach John L. Smith released this statement, "Marquel Wade, Maudrecus Humphrey and Andrew Peterson have been suspended indefinitely. We have high standards for our student-athletes and I expect them to conduct themselves appropriately. Poor conduct and misbehavior will not be tolerated and is not what we expect from the University of Arkansas football program."

The players were released on bond on Sunday.
