Rush Gets An Award
Radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh has received a big honor in his home state of Missouri. Limbaugh was officially inducted Monday into the Hall of Famous Missourians during a state capitol ceremony. Other members of the hall of fame include Mark Twain and Dred Scott.
Yahoo! Leadership
Yahoo! gets some new leadership. Company CEO Scot Thompson has left his post after reports surfaced that he lied on his resume about his college degree. The company has named their media chief the new interim and also appointed new board members. Thompson was with Yahoo! for just four months.
Rebekah Brooks Charged
Former editor of Rupert Murdoch's newspaper division, Rebekah Brooks, was charged today with interfering with a police investigation. Brooks was charged with conspiring to remove boxes archive records from Murdoch's London headquarters and hiding documents and electronic equipment from authorities. All this stemmed from the investigation of a phone hacking scandal. Prosecutors also charged her husband, former assistant, chauffeur, and security. If she's found guilty she could face time in prison.
LA Angel Son Arrested
The son of Los Angeles Angel's right-fielder Torii Hunter has been busted for allegedly sexually assaulting a child. 17 year old Darius Mcclinton-Hunter was arrested on Monday after a month long investigation. Four other teens have also been arrested. Police will not elaborate on the the investigation but sources say the alleged victim is a 16 year old girl. Hunter's lawyer says his client is innocent . The angels have placed Torii Hunter on the restricted list.
Kim K & Kanye
Kim Kardashian confirmed her new boyfriend, Kanye West, will appear on season seven of "Keeping Up With The Kardashians". According to Kim K, there will be no intimate moments. The starlet also says she wants to show her life with the rapper but will not get as personal about her relationship on TV as her sister Khloe has.
