Updated: May 16, 2012
Visitors to the Bentonville Public Library can take a look at the different flags carried in to the Battle of Pea Ridge.

Rally Around the Flag, a community exhibit, explains the significance of the banners used during the civil war fight.
According to the exhibit, the flags served as symbols and markers to help guide troops through the confusion of battle.

The Rogers Historical Museum created the display using a grant from the Department of Arkansas Heritage.
