The newest American Idol may be one of the most reserved champions in the show's history.  And about an hour and a half after taking the Idol title, Phillip Phillips maintained his laid back personality despite winning the most watched singing competition show on television.

"It still hasn't sunk in," says Phillips.  "It's unreal."

It wasn't until he was asked about the performances during Wednesday night's finale that Phillips spoke more than a few words after each question.

"All of the performers were amazing.  It was a fun night, not just for the show, but for all of us.  Rihanna was great, and Aerosmith was awesome. It was a great night."
