The heat is on in Northwest Arkansas. Combined with the lack of rain, Washington County is under a red flag warning and Madison County has issued a burn ban.

The Washington County Sheriff's Office gave that warning Monday and Madison County issued the ban Tuesday. This means no outside burning is allowed until further notice.

Benton county has not yet issued a burn ban or red flag warning.

You can check for burn bans around the state HERE.
