Around 8:20p.m. on Tuesday, police went to Chaffee Liquor after reports of an attempted robbery. When they arrived, the manager, Jeffery Hurlocker, had a juvenile held at gunpoint. He told police the kid had come in and pulled a knife on him, demanding money. Hurlocker then grabbed a revolver from a shelf behind the counter and got the teen to kick his knife over to him, according to reports.
Police found 2 more knifes on the teen, who claimed to be 16, during a search. He was arrested on a charge of Aggravated Robbery with a Knife.
