Golf Tour Gives to Children's Center

Members of the LPGA tour took a break from the course Wednesday to present a gift to the Northwest Arkansas Children's Center.
The shelter received two checks, totaling $25,000 from representatives of the Walmart Northwest Arkansas Championship and presenting sponsor P&G. Professional golfer Morgan Pressel joined representatives from the companies to tour the shelter.
"A big part of the LPGA tour and our charitable endeavors as we travel around the world is we try to give back to the communities in which we play," Pressel says.
Children's center representatives say public funding for the program can't keep up so these kind of donations are vital to the operation's success.
