More Property Owners Ask for Voluntary Annexation

Hiwasse's voluntary annexation into Gravette has other farmers in the area trying to follow the town's lead.
County Judge Bob Clinard turned down a petition for voluntary annexation by a group of property owners just outside of Gravette's new border on June 29th.
Clinard says the group is worried Bella Vista will annex their property, although that city doesn't have any plans for annexation at this time.
A church located in the proposed area objected, and Clinard says several other factors prompted him reject the annexation.
