A Springdale Man is Accused of Killing a 2 Month Old Child

A Springdale man was arrested Thursday and is accused of killing his two month old step-son.
The Springdale Police Department arrested 23 year old, Tremelle Deshun Overton, after authorities found his step-son unresponsive and not breathing Wednesday night, this according to a release from the P.D. The release also said that Overton and the child's mother were interviewed before an arrest was made.
Overton was booked into the Washington County Detention Center on Thursday, and is facing charges of 1st degree murder. His bond has been set at $100,000.
According to police, the infant's body has been sent to the state crime laboratory, and the investigation is ongoing.
