Updated: September 11, 2012
Fayetteville police say a bomb threat called into the US Probation & Parole office was a hoax.

The office received the call at 7:45 am Tuesday morning. Fayetteville Police Sgt. Craig Stout said  police searched the building and found nothing leading them to believe there was ever a bomb inside.

Police will continue to investigate, hoping to catch the person who called in the threat.
