The University of Arkansas received some pretty bad grades when it comes to diversity on its campus. A recent study gave the university a "C" concerning the graduating of minority students and an "F" for recruitment of minorities and students from poor families. A spokesperson for the admissions department says it can be tough to recruit such students because of the location of the U of A and the fact that many of them do not meet the requirements to attend the university without first attending a two year college. The study also gave several other flagship schools a failing grade concerning minority recruitment.
