Bentonville police are releasing new information about a murder investigation involving a six-year-old girl.
Investigators say the victim is Jersey Bridgeman.
Police found her body at a house on Southeast "A" Street Tuesday, just a few houses down from her home.
Cops tell us the FBI is now assisting in the investigation.
So far no arrests have been made and no suspects have been named.

A Fayetteville man is lucky to be alive after escaping a house fire with only minor burns.
Crews responded to a duplex on Clemenger Drive just after 10:00 Wednesday night.
The man, who lives there with his wife and five kids, says the smell of smoke woke him up and he initially tried to fight the fire himself.
That's how he ended up with burns on his forehead.
Fortunately the rest of his family was out of town.

In Springdale, you'll be able to buy liquor on Sunday starting this weekend.
According to the mayor's office, the Washington County Election Commission has certified the Sunday liquor sales votes.
Establishments are allowed to begin sales under the new city policy on November 25 and can sell between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and midnight.

This as the City of Rogers decides where its liquor stores will be allowed.
Voters approved the sale of alcohol in Benton County, and this week the city's planning commission established where new stores can set up shop.
According to a commission spokesperson, liquor stores will be allowed along major highways like Interstate 540, Highway 71, and Hudson Road, as well as in historic downtown.
As far as when alcohol sales can start, the Alcoholic Beverage Control Board is working to pinpoint an exact date.

Thanksgiving Day is upon us!
And if you're looking for a place to get a traditional feast, you're in luck.
Several spots across our area are serving up a turkey dinner Thursday.
The Salvation Army will serve folks from noon to 2:00 p.m. at both the Bentonville and Fayetteville shelters.
The Fort Smith location will have food from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Charity Baptist Church in Rogers will also feed those in need from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

As long as the tryptophan doesn't set in, a lot of folks are planning to shop 'til they drop Thursday night.
Stores are opening up earlier than ever this year for Black Friday holiday deals.
Walmart is just one of the businesses expecting swarms of shoppers.
The retail giant will open up at 8:00 Thanksgiving night.
