If you're just rolling out of bed, guess what? Charlie Brown is in court! And Hillary Clinton got angry and emotional while testifying at a hearing about the attacks in Benghazi. These are your Top Trenders this morning.
Good grief Charlie Brown!
The man behind the voice of Charlie Brown is in trouble with the law.
Peter Robbins faces charges of stalking and threatening a former girlfriend and a plastic surgeon who gave her a boob job he apparently didn't care for.
San Diego prosecutors say Robbins repeatedly called and threatened his ex, telling her he would kill her and her son if she did not give back his dog and car.
Robbins is also accused of threatening a plastic surgeon.
He reportedly paid for his former girlfriend's breast enhancement and demanded the money back after they broke up.
He has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
"With all due respect, the fact is we had four dead Americans. Was it because of a protest or was it because of guys out for a walk one night decided they'd go kill some Americans? What difference, at this point, does it make? It is our job to figure out what happened and do everything we can to prevent it from ever happening again, Senator," Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said Wednesday on Capitol Hill.
She exploded while answering tough questions from GOP lawmakers about the terrorist attack in Benghazi, Libya.
The hearing went on for hours and Clinton got emotional a few times, saying she took the death of four Americans, including Ambassador Chris Stevens, very personally.
The outgoing secretary of state also defended Susan Rice, passed over to be Clinton's successor after republicans accused Rice of misleading Americans in the days after the attack.
The ban on women in combat is over.
Defense Secretary Leon Panetta is expected to announce today that he's removing the military's ban on women serving in combat, opening thousands of front line positions.
The move, recommended by the Joint Chiefs of Staff, overturns a 1994 rule banning women from being assigned to smaller ground combat units.
Military officials say some jobs may open as soon as this year.
Women currently constitute fourteen-and-a-half percent of the nation's 1.4 million active-duty military personnel.
The Beyonce lip-synching saga continues.
The owner of the audio company that provided equipment at the Presidential Inauguration says he knows whether Beyonce was live, or lip-synching when she performed the National Anthem.
But, he's not saying.
Bob Goldstein says its up to the pop star to speak for herself.
One thing Goldstein would say is that the day's other two big performers, Kelly Clarkson and James Taylor, were indeed live.
Manti Te'o says he had no choice but to keep talking about that fake girlfriend who supposedly died of cancer after he learned she was fake.
The Notre Dame linebacker is finally telling his side of the strange story to Katie Couric.
Te'o says he never met the girl he called the love of his life.
He says a man he knows, Ronaiah Tuiasosopo of California, tricked him into thinking he was talking online with a young woman named Lennay Kekua.
