UPDATE: 2 People Charged in Deadly Mall Shooting, Victims' Names Released

Little Rock Police have released the names of the victims in Thursday night's deadly robbery-turned-shooting at Park Plaza Mall.

Christian Hayes, 25, who died after being taken to the hospital, and Jashonta Thomas, 18, who was in critical condition at last report, both worked at Sbarro Pizza, where the crimes took place.
[Note: Police had incorrectly identified the restaurant manager as the victim who died but sent a corrected report].

LITTLE ROCK, AR - One man dead and an 18-year-old woman is in critical condition after a shooting at the Park Plaza Mall Thursday night.

Tristan Bryant, 20, and Deonte Edison, 18,  each face 1 capital murder charge and 1 count of criminal attempt to commit murder.

Little Rock Police say the shooting was the result of an attempted robbery of the Sbarro at the mall food court. Police say the shooting happened around 9:41pm in a hallway used by employees behind the restaurant. Police do not know if anything was stolen.

According to its website, the mall closes at 9pm.

Park Plaza issued the following statement on the shooting Friday morning:
Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims. We are in full cooperation with the Little Rock Police Department during their investigation.
