Police say Brian Bergthold could be a serial child molester. Bergthold turned himself into Benton County deputies Wednesday morning on charges of sexual assault and child pornography. The charges stem from the testimony of a teenage boy and a search of Bergthold`s home. Police say they found child pornography inside Bergthold Bella Vista home, including a video or a minor performing a sexual act while Bergthold touched the boy. Bergthold has been a foster parent for two year and was praised by the Department of Human Services for his faith and opening his home to twenty eight children. Police say he also invited children from his church in Bella Vista to his home. "We have no idea what kids he`s been in contact with and we really need the help of the public so if your child has been in his care we need to know." Bella Vista Police Detective Barb Shrum said. If you know of a child whose come into contact with Bergthold call the Bella Vista Police Department at (479) 855-3771.
