(Little Rock, AR) -- At least 12 Mexican nationals were arrested Thursday for violating immigration laws. The "Arkansas Democrat Gazette" says the arrests took place in Pulaski County as part of an effort to protect "critical infrastructure sites." The newspaper reports those taken into custody were employed by two firms performing work at Camp Robinson, a National Guard training facility located close to North Little Rock. Immigration officials say deportation proceedings are underway for nine men, two women and juvenile male arrested.
