Rosie ODonnell: shes been off the air for a month now, but shes still making headlines. No sooner had Bob Barker retired from 35 years of "The Price is Right," that he kind of put his foot in it. "I do believe they are going to have a meeting with Rosie," Barker says. According to Barker, Rosie ODonnell, might replace him. "She knows the show. As far as doing it, theres no doubt in my mind she can do the show," he says. But like all things Rosie, that blew up. In the face of Rosie-lovers and -haters on the Internet, Barker backtracked. "One of the great things about Rosie is that even when shes not on TV, everyone is talking about her coming back on TV. We all want to see what her next move is going to be," says Ken Baker, the editorial director of USmagazine.com. ODonnell left "The View" in May, after repeated on air fights with fellow "View" diva, Elisabeth Hasselbeck. A fight ODonnell continued on the Internet, and it is that jump to the raw, unscripted Internet that has been a perfect fit for nearly a month. She waxes on anything, from Michael Moores movies to politics to her current project with singer Cyndi Lauper. Rosie doesnt bake anything, doesnt interview celebs, just showcases friends and family, like wife Kelli Carpenter. "Rosie in a lot of ways will never go away as long as there is the Internet," says Baker. The Views" ratings have slipped since ODonnell left. Summer reruns will include old Rosie shows. As for "The Price is Right"? Most insiders say the game show thing wont happen. Something about ODonnells strong opinions and divisive history, that "the price might be wrong".
