Independence Day can be filled with fun and fireworks, but its also important to remember safety. Here are some basic safety guidelines to make sure your Fourth of July celebration stays cool.. Safety Tips * Have an adult present * Dispose of fireworks in a bucket of water * Never leave used fireworks on the ground * Treat duds as if theyve been used * Dont hold fireworks or hover over them when lighting * Light one firework at a time * Keep pets indoors * Never point fireworks at others
