The severance hearing for two men accused of murder will take place in an open courtroom. A Benton County judged opened the hearing for Serafin Sandoval-Vega and Manuel Camacho, who are accused of killing Daniel Francis in a road rage incident in 2006. That same judge had previously closed the court proceeding, citing the defendants right to a fair trial, but a local newspaper filed a motion to open it. The December hearing will decide whether Sandoval-Vega and Camacho will be tried together or separately. Both face the death penalty if convicted.
