Methamphetamine is a problem across the United States, and locally law enforcement is cracking down. According to research, methamphetamine use is increasing in Northwest Arkansas at an epidemic rate. State drug director Fran Flener says it’s so popular because its cheap and easy to make. Benton County formed a meth task force four years ago.
