Fayetteville city council must now approve a proposed budget that cuts over nine-hundred thousand dollars from the 2008 budget.

Among the items that may be on the chopping block, are some part time jobs and a hiring freeze for the year.

Weeks ago the council voted not to raise millage on property to make up for lagging sales tax.

The council will hold a special budget meeting on november 28th.
