Several local residents are receiving calls from a man claiming he can provide free health insurance. The Better Business Bureau claims this scam has been going around the state. They claim the caller is trying to get banking information from seniors. The caller will claim hes with a company called Medical Provisions. The caller will provide personal information about the potential victim. A woman we caught up with received a call. She said the caller knew her bank and routing number.
"After I thought about it, my blood pressure shot sky high,” said Fayetteville resident Joann Freeman. “If they know this, what else do they know?"
The Attorney Generals is investigation the scam.
