Wednesday night, someone set several cars on fire on the North side of town. This isn’t the first time this has happened. Starting at about 7 PM police got several calls reporting cars on fire. There were five, all in one night, and victims are wondering why. One victim, Lewanda Page, says it’s, "Someone on a rampage, I guess, trying to get some attention. I dont know, I mean thats all I can see, and its crazy." Ed Ristow’s truck was burned Wednesday night, and he says someone set the same truck on fire last year on the same date (December 5th.) He says he doesn’t know why he’s been a target twice. He explains, "Im not really sure what it is, but it needs to end." Ristow says he hopes police catch up with the arsonist before he does. He says if he finds the culprit first, he’ll take matters into his own hands. He says, "Were gonna have a little discussion." Police are looking for a white guy in his early twenties with a medium build. He was wearing a black ball cap, a black jacket, and jeans. If you know anything about this case, call the police at 479-709-5000.
