Attorney General Dustin McDaniel is cracking down on internet scams.
He says internet service companies offered 100 dollar rebates per account, if a customer opened 3 accounts but you had to pay 120 dollars a month for the dial-up accounts which typically only cost about 5 or ten dollars a month.
McDaniel says this scheme was similar to the scams payday lending were trying pull earlier this year.
All of the companies involved settled with McDaniels.
