Democratic Runoff Candidate Pete Gallego Speaks to Potter/Randall Democrat Club

AMARILLO -- State Representative Pete Gallego, of Alpine, TX, was the guest speaker for the June meeting of the Potter/Randall Democrat Club.
Gallego is a runoff candidate with Ciro Rodriquez for newly drawn Congressional District 23, which runs from San Antonio to El Paso.
"Rep. Gallegoss house district, and congressional district, are in West Texas. The Panhandle is part of the West Texas Coalition of Democrats and all of us in West Texas are working very hard to try to reclaim the U.S. House of Representatives," Club President Mike Moore said. "Rep. Gallegoss race is a critical race to us and we believe he is an excellent candidate with a fresh vision of what Congress can do to serve the citizens of West Texas Moore added."
Rep. Gallego was first elected in 1990, at the age of 28, and has served 11 terms in State House District 74.
