You need to know what kind of condition your garden soil is in. And i'll bet you didnt' know this: Soil testing in Arkansas is free! It helps to know what you're working with, because if you're buying unnecessary fertilizers, it will cost you more money, and it could damage your water supply by aging a supply such as Beaver Lake earlier than its supposed to.
