Art Experience Fundraiser

By:
Updated: April 16, 2007
The Walnut Farm Montessori School conducts this annual fundraiser to enhance the schools programs. This is only the second year the art experience has been incorporated into the fundraising events. Montessori schools are private institutions with tuition only covering about 80 percent of operating costs, leading school officials to rely heavily on fundraisers to make up the difference. The event featured mostly local artists as well as art prepared by the children of the Walnut Farm Montessori School. Today also marks the 100th anniversary of Montessori schools across the nation.
