Fox's Anita Vogel caught up with the House star to find out more about her latest movie roles for tonight's Entertainment Edge.
Saddling up with some A-listers, Olivia Wilde is still processing her hugely successful movie career and rise to fame on fox's hit medical drama House.
"I do a little slap on the face," says Wilde, "I wake up and give myself a good slap. Is it real? It's pretty fun."
Co-starring with Harrison Ford and Daniel Craig in the sci-fi western Cowboys & Aliens, as well as the comedy The Change-Up with funnymen Ryan Reynolds and Jason Bateman, Olivia says fame has kept her posse very small.
"I don't have a big entourage," says Wilde. "I have the most incredible support team who have been so wonderful the past couple weeks as we've headed into this crazy storm of press. I'm having fun with it because I'm surrounded by great people and it's an exciting time. These things don't happen often and so I'm appreciative."
Playing a mysterious gunslinging cowgirl in the western, Olivia believes the comic book adaptation caters to all crowds.
"It's a real western. It's got a lot of grit to it. It's got a lot of humor, but it's very classic. It feels like a good old John Ford movie or Sergio Leonie. It's just really, really epic and then it's got this element of sci-fi that's brought in as a secondary element ."
And as always, "Dr. Thirteen," reveals what she can about her role on House next season.
"Just between you and me," jokes Wilde, "Don't tell anyone. I'm gonna tell you a really big secret. Camera's off right? I will be back. I won't be back for many episodes but I'm gonna be back."
