People across the state have been talking for a while now about Arkansas head coach Houston Nutt's cell phone records. They were obtained by a man from Searcy who requested the phone bills through the Freedom of Information Act. That man then wrote an email to the University of Arkansas Board of Trustees, voicing concern about some of the phone calls and text messages that were placed by Nutt.
Monday in Little Rock, Nutt was asked by a reporter if he would like to address the issue and Nutt responded by saying, -"I think at the proper time that's going to happen. My attorney is handling everything. He's told me right now not to say anything but at the proper time I think all those things will be addressed. We'll look forward to doing that."
Nutt was then asked about the difficulty of focusing during the offseason. He replied by saying, "Well, whats tough is when there's rumors and malicious rumors that hurt when there's no truth to it and it's your family. I mean, it's a little easier for me although you don't like it. It's your family, it's your children, it's your wife who I''ve been with 24 years. That's the toughest thing. They know, they understand what's going on. I think with talking to our lawyers and everything, hopefully this will be over soon."
