Hard Luck Cafe's Big Bopper

Steven Martinez is a fourth-generation restaurateur but he is leaving his own mark on this business. He calls that mark The Big Bopper.
It's a grilled cheese sandwich, topped with mayo, lettuce, onions, tomato, pickles, a cheeseburger patty, a piece of bread, another cheeseburger patty, a fried egg and then topped off with another grilled cheese sandwich.
"A lot of people order it just to actually see it," Martinez says. "They don't have the intention of making it through it."
This burger bohemith stands six inches high and contains over 3,000 calories.
"Probably about 20, 15-20% of people who order it actually finish it. They just think it's gonna be a run-of-the-mill burger, then when it comes out, a lot of times, as soon as it hits the table they'll ask for a to-go box because they know they aren't gonna finish it," Martinez said.
If you want to try The Big Bopper at the Hard Luck Cafe in Gravette, be my guest, but don't say I didn't warn you.
