Cassidy joined KNWA's news team in July 2011.She moved from Nashville, Tennessee after graduating from Belmont University with a degree in Journalism.
While in school, she interned at Nashville's ABC and CBS affiliates, spent a summer doing video production for SpringHill Camps in Michigan, and was the Managing Editor of the Belmont Vision.
Like any good Nashvillian, she loves to play guitar and sing; preferably from her hammock, on a nice day.
While music filled a lot of time in high school, she also took a media class senior year, sparking an initial interest for television news.
From the first time she turned her own story in college, she was hooked.
Cassidy loves going to work everyday knowing she will meet someone new and be given the opportunity to learn something she didn't know before.
One day, she hopes to have a large, fluffy puppy, but currently can't find the time to squeeze him in.
She currently lives in Fayetteville and is excited to experience SEC football up close and personal.
Although Boonville, Indiana will always be home, she can't wait to get to know the people and places of Northwest Arkansas.
