Folks in Sprindale Celebrate the Fight Against Breast Cancer

Today in Springdale the "Give Breast Cancer The Boot" Pink Ribbon Luncheon celebrated life and the fight against this disease

Country singer Candy Coburn kicked off the event followed by a boot fashion show with models who are all breast cancer survivors.

The emotional closing included a candle light tribute in honor of Melissa Carroll--a very special lady and advocate who passed away just a few weeks ago..

Breast cancer survivors stood and lit candles in remembrance of those we've lost to this disease and in celebration of those still with us.

The Susan G Komen For The Cure Ozark Affiliate hosted the sold out event.
KNWA's Neile Jones and FOX 24's Brad Reed seved as emcees for the fun filled event.
