It's been a busy summer for Lauren Alaina.
After finishing second on TV's biggest show, she toured the country with her fellow top 10 finalists. And during her travels, she also found time to record her debut country album, "Wildflower."
"I only had like 5 or 6 days in the studio to record the whole album," says Alaina. "And it was kind of tricky because we did it in all different studios."
Now the 16 year-old Georgia native is ready to compete on the charts with an album that really represents her.
"I think that's a pretty good description of who I am," explains Alaina. "I'm a wildflower, and I'm so excited to have my album out especially when I'm only 16."
Lauren says she's already learned interacting with fans via social media is important.
"I'll just announce a twitter party and I'll reply to as many of my fans as I possibly can over like an hour or hour and a half."
