Madelyn's Tale

One local five year-old girl is doing what she can to help other children in northwest Arkansas.
Madelyn Louton loves books.
"I like to see the pages and I love reading," Madelyn said.
Not every child in northwest Arkansas is lucky enough to have books at home. When Madelyn found out about this she turned her recent birthday party into a fundraising effort. Instead of asking for presents, she wanted books donated to her cause. Her friends, classmates and fellow church members responded. She received 165 books.
Madelyn will keep collecting books until the end of the month and then donate them all. There's nothing like a good book. And, there's no little girl quite like Madelyn.
