Marissa Stevens

Marissa Stevens joined the team in
October 2011.
She made the journey to Northwest
Arkansas from San Diego, California after graduating from San Diego State
University with a degree in journalism.
After completing two internships with
the NBC affiliate in San Diego, she knew this was the career she wanted to
pursue.
Her passion and desire to meet new
people, see new places, and learn new things is what keeps her motivated.
Every day holds a different story, and
that is something she truly loves about her job.
Marissa grew up in Washington State, so
she loves being on the water whether she is driving the boat, slalom skiing,
wakeboarding, or just swimming around.
Music has always been a huge part of
her life. She is a classically trained pianist, plays the flute
and French horn, and loves singing and performing on stage.
She is very close to her big family and
being far away from them is tough, but Marissa loves Northwest Arkansas. She is
excited to get involved in her local community, explore the beautiful outdoors,
and has officially learned how to call the Hogs!
