NBC to Broadcast 2012 Summer Olympics in 3D

NBC is going for gold in its broadcast of this summer's Olympics in London.

In what will mark a television first for Olympic coverage, the network has announced its partnership with Panasonic and Olympic Broadcasting Services to present this year's summer games in 3D.

NBC unveiled its 3D broadcast plans at the International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas Monday.

Coverage of the games runs from July 27th to August 12th on KNWA.
