Steven Tyler says he's already found ten potential stars.

Some very talented, wild, and eccentric singers in Savannah, Georgia started off season 11 of American Idol on Fox Wednesday night.

"I remember savannah really well," said Idol judge Randy Jackson.

"Yeah, Savannah was amazing," added fellow judge Jennifer Lopez.

The judges spoke about the season premier on the red carpet this week, and admitted how impressed they were with the Peach State.  Steven Tyler even said he's already found not one, but 10 potential stars this season.

"Last year I kept talking about 'the one,'" explained Tyler.  "Now there's 'the ten!'"

The fact is this:  The last four winners of the show have all been the "guy with a guitar" type.  But when asked about the trend the judges gave an expected answer.

"I think it's going to be a surprise who wins," proclaimed Randy.

"Yeah, and it's going to be interesting even for us to see who becomes the one," mimicked J-Lo.

Jennifer Hudson is releasing a new "weight watchers" inspired memoir.

"If it could help inspire someone else on their journey," asked Hudson.  "Then why not?"

And while she's not selling books, acting, or singing -- Jennifer says her TV will be tuned to Fox.

"I can not wait to see Idol this season," said Hudson.
