A unique local company is aiming to help small businesses and entrepreneurs.

Last week 'The Iceberg' opened in Fayetteville.  The company gives folks that don't have an office a place to work, providing desks, printers, internet access, and even a conference room.

Josh Clemence of 'The Iceberg' said, "You have every basic function of any office you would think of, in place that people can share."

But 'The Iceberg' is hoping to help small businesses in more ways that just one.

Chris Brown owns his own business and uses the 'Iceberg' facilities, he said, "It will reinvigorate the person behind the business."

This new workplace hotspot is also helping professionals network, through a process called co-working.

Clemence added, "There's so much value in getting perspective from somebody that you don't know."

The basic idea is to get ideas from others, and it's an idea that's catching on and working.

Brown said, "I know I've already learned a couple of things from guys here, and we've only been here for a week."

Clemence said, "I hope that people see the tremendous value in collaboration, and perspective, and know that we're doing this in order to help people."

But there's even more to this 'Iceberg', as work gets done, and new ideas are born, there's also a community growing.

Brown said, "Being an entrepreneur is a tough road, very few people can do it and sustain and make it, and you have to have that sense of camaraderie , and see other people out there doing it and that you're not alone."

"Just the feeling of, other people are doing this, so they're not the only ones out there, cause sometimes you feel like that."

Brown added that he believes 'The Iceberg' could be the start of something bigger, "We're going to look back in a couple of years and say this is one of those places that allowed people to come together and launch Northwest Arkansas as a tech hub."

Clemence says while there is a fee to use the workplace, 'The Iceberg' is about helping local small businesses.  He says the company is just using those funds to pay the bills.

A grand opening for 'The Iceberg' is scheduled for mid-March.
