The Daytona 500 will be raced under the lights tonight after rain postpones NASCAR's first race of the year.

The race is now scheduled to air tonight at 6 p.m. CT, which means another first time for this race, the Daytona 500 for the first time will air in prime time.

The race was originally set to start yesterday at noon but was delayed because of rain to 11 a.m. CT Monday. After another storm system moved in, NASCAR decided to push the race back to 6 p.m. CT.
