Giving Up And Giving For Lent. Morgan Timbs' Tale

Morgan Timbs is always busy doing her daily chores. Her tasks include washing the dishes and watching her younger siblings.
She uses that hard earned money to get out of the house.
"I usually go out to the movies," Morgan said. "Or I go to the mall and shop with my friends."
Something at the mall recently caught Morgan's eye. She liked a purse but not just any purse. A Vera Bradley bag.
Just two weeks away from buying her own Vera Bradley, Morgan decided to not only give up something for lent, but to give.
She began a fundraising effort for Methodist Family Health. The non-profit takes care of neglected and abused children. So far, Morgan has raised well over $200. That's enough money for three Vera Bradley's. But Morgan is hoping to raise $1,000 by the end of lent on April 5th.
With less than a month to go, Morgan has a lot of chores to do. To help Morgan, visit her link on facebook, http://www.facebook.com/events/308557142539649/
