According to RoadRagers.com, avoid eye contact with an angry driver. Eye contact can make matters worse.
Also, use your horn sparingly. Try not to use it to punish an aggressive driver and put as much distance between you and the other car as possible.
Police also say if things are getting out of hand, call 911 and drive towards a police station or somewhere well lit.
