Chef Meteorologist, Dan Skoff, and John Millis, from GE Lighting, surprised Mrs. Barbara James' 4th grade at Westwood Elementary with a $500 Walmart Gift card for classroom supplies. Mrs. James will be sharing the gift card with the other 4th grade classes to purchase science and technology supplies for school experiments and projects. The 4th grade classes at Westwood will be studying how energy works by creating several different hands-on models, such as a solar oven, a geothermal power plant, a biomass plant, and a water wheel.
