Christian Slater and his savvy contra security team are breaking back into the Fox primetime line-up with all new episodes of the workplace comedy -- and a new boss to answer to.
"The opportunity to work with someone like Megan Mullally is great," explains Slater. "You knew from the moment she came in when we did the read-through it was like another level."
American Idol
A new face on American Idol this week as Tommy Hilfiger joins the show as an image advisor for finalists.
"As a fashion designer who has been inspired by music and musicians for my entire career I really believe that all the mega stars have had a fashion attitude," says Hilfiger. "If you think of Madonna, you think of Michael Jackson, you think of Prince, think of Mick Jagger, think of Elton John. Think of all those real mega stars, and they've all had individual looks of their own. "
X-Factor
There's been endless speculation on who is going to fill the judge's seats left vacant by last season's judges Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger. But now show creator and fellow judge Simon Cowell is revealing new details on the search.
"I'm not going to lie; you change your mind," says Cowell. "Last night for example two more people threw their names in the hat who weren't on the list two or three weeks ago and they're really well known people. They suddenly decided they're interested, so you've got to keep all your options open. "
Britney Spears and Janet Jackson have both been mentioned as possible replacements, and Cowell says no deal has been finalized with either of the singers.
