Fox's freshman hit "New Girl" continues to explore single life and a familiar theme of co-star Max Greenfield's well defined chest. Throughout the show his character Schmidt feels a need to remove his shirt and let America admire his well fit six pack.

The shirtless acting has spawned some bizarre rumors; including one in particular is there a body stunt double for Schmidt?

"That's the greatest rumor on the planet," says Greenfield.

But Emily Deschanel is quick to dispel the gossip.

"It is not true," says Deschanel.  "Max Greenfield is 100% ripped."

Another rumor about Greenfield is about taking a long time to shoot some scenes with Hannah Simone.

"He does seem to laugh a lot when we are doing our romantic scenes, which means we have to do take after take," says Simone.  "If there is a method to his madness he has not told me yet."
