America RV Park developer Jay Potter bought land on Pianalto Rd., in a rural neighborhood in Tontitown. Potter said he picked this location, since its right off Hwy 412.
Tonitowns Planning Commission is scheduled to hear from angry residents Tuesday night but, Potter said there is nothing they can do about it.
According to Potter, Pialnalto Rd. is divided between county and city property. The RV Park is on the county side, so Potter says he doesnt have to wait for a go ahead from the city.
Chrisit Hamilton lives across the street from the future Park and is selling her home, but worries her property value will go down.
Potter says this Park will be top quality and gated. He thinks neighbors will be pleasantly surprised.
Potter is waiting on approval from the County Planning Commission. He hopes to have it up and running in three months.
