Lamar Odom Leaves the Mavs
Lamar Odom's time with the Dallas Mavericks has ended. According to ESPN, The NBA's reigning sixth man of the year will not play the rest of the season for the Mavericks. Odom told espn.com that he and the defending champions decided it was "in the best interest of both parties for me to step away from the team."

Lindsay Legal Trouble
Lindsay Lohan may be in legal trouble again. A woman has filed a battery complaint against Lohan accusing the actress of shoving her at a West Hollywood night club. According to the Los Angeles sheriff's department, it's just an allegation and requires further invesitgation.  If the allegation had been made last month before Lindsay was released from probation, the incident could have led to a probation violation.

Facebook Buys Instagram
Facebook announced it will acquire Instagram, the popular online photo-sharing service. The deal is worth $1 billion in cash and stock.  The company posted the news on their site as well as on Mark Zuckerberg's own Facebook profile.  Zuckerberg wrote,  "This is an important milestone for Facebook because it's the first time we've ever acquired a product and company with so many users." The deal comes just a month before Facebook plans to IPO.

Ozzie Offers Apology
Miami Marlins manager Ozzie Guillen has planned to apologize again for telling a magazine that he loves Fidel Castro. According to Time Magazine, Guillen said he  loves the cuban leader and respects him for staying in power so long. Guillen will return to Florida following Mondays game and make his apology on Tuesday at Marlins Park.

Bubba Wins Masters
Bubba Watson was awarded the green jacket Sunday after winning the Masters in Augusta, GA. Watson, a UGA grad, saluted the Georgia crowd by saying "Go Dawgs."
