Fayetteville police say a man ran over a woman and then attacked her boyfriend with a wrench.

According to investigators, David Austin was angry at the two people because he says they stole medication from him.

Officers say he hit the woman with his car, crashing it into a ditch, then got out armed with a wrench and attacked her boyfriend.

Both victims were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Austin faces charges of aggravated assault.
