Employees Evacuated as Crews Battle Fire at Springdale Plant

Springdale firefighters are currently on the scene of a fire on the north side of town.
The Springdale Fire Department was called to Advanced Environmental Recycling Technologies at 801 N Jefferson around 11:45 this morning.
First responders say there was light smoke showing from behind the business and employees have been evacuated.
AERT uses recycled polyethylene plastic to make composite building materials.
