Greg Turner - Storm Spotter

Greg then began seriously studying meteorology while attending LeTourneau University in Longview Texas. In 1993 Greg began chasing storms to assist in providing ground-truthing for the National Weather Service. After moving back to his hometown of Austin Texas in 1997, Greg experienced the power of the deadly F-5 Jarrell Texas tornado. That experience further enhanced Greg's passion for his understanding the atmosphere.
While living in Austin, Greg chased for the ABC affiliate KVUE-TV. In 2006 Greg relocated to Northwest Arkansas just in time to chase the March 12 Benton County tornado. Over the years Greg has provided not only crucial reports and damage survey assistance to the National Weather Service, but he has also provided severe weather videography, photography and interviews to numerous television media outlets as well as a movie production company.
